Zero emission urban logistics from 1-1-2025
From 1 January 2025, municipalities may designate an urban area where no polluting vans or trucks are allowed to drive. These are vehicles that run on petrol or diesel. So-called zero emission zones will become the standard in 30 to 40 city centres. In zero emission zones, you will only be allowed to drive your van or truck if it does not emit pollutants. Although the 1 January 2025 date does not yet apply to all vehicles, many organisations will not escape this measure. Electric driving is then one of the solutions. Municipalities want to reduce CO2 emissions in cities with these new rules.
